We’ve seen some amazing scenes from across the catchment. Homes and businesses were damaged and destroyed, infrastructure and public amenities were rendered out of action and the clean-up is just beginning.
For bush and riparian regenerators it’s an anxious period waiting to see the damage as the river recedes.
With such an incredible amount of water and force., it is encouraging to see the resilience of the plantings however several days underwater may be too much for them. Time will tell.
