I live along the Bremer River just one street down from Crib Park and I would really like to stop all of the weeds that are coming back since the last flood. Then plant native grasses that will one slow down erosion and add native habitats for our , which was a great variety of native animals, environment. It would just be nice to have it neat, tidy and inviting for the natives and the public so Ipswich can have an even better reputation as a place to live and bring up children or just enjoy the natural environment.
Sorry for the (cough) 1 month delay getting back to you Robyn… please get in touch with Anthony from the Garden of Eden Group – they’ve been doing great work down at Cribb Park and are always keen for more volunteers. They are down there every second Saturday.
