Management Strategy

The Bremer Catchment Management Strategy identifies 5 key issues of importance to the well being of the Bremer:

• Support for subcatchment groups to manage their natural resource assets
• Restoration of riparian zones
• Assisting other sectors with the management of the catchment's natural resource assets
• Maintaining a Water Quality Monitoring program
• Committment to and an involvement in the regional natural resource process

The Bremer Catchment Association will address these issues by:

• Support established and prospective subcatchment groups to successfully carry out local projects and programs
• Promoting public awareness through:
