Management Strategy
The Bremer Catchment Management Strategy identifies 5 key issues of importance to the well being of the Bremer:
- Support for subcatchment groups to manage their natural resource assets
- Restoration of riparian zones
- Assisting other sectors with the management of the catchment's natural resource assets
- Maintaining a Water Quality Monitoring program
- Committment to and an involvement in the regional natural resource process
The Bremer Catchment Association will address these issues by:
- Support established and prospective subcatchment groups to successfully carry out local projects and programs
- Promoting public awareness through:
- Field days
- Public forums

- On ground projects
